Advocates for preserving the heart of Fayetteville, while we continue to grow.
Present to listen to all of Ward One. Connecting with community leaders to foster smart change.
I’m Jody Verser, an architect and a long-time resident of Fayetteville, running for City Council because:
A. I love this city and
B. I believe in the potential of the communities in ward one and the importance of having a voice that truly represents the needs and aspirations of all of its residents.
Jody has lived in Arkansas for 38 years, calling Fayetteville home for the last 20.
Jody has been involved with or practicing architecture in Arkansas since 2004.
In the practice of architecture he found the perfect combination of his passion for using technology and design to improve the lives of others.
Over the last 15 years he has worked for UA Campus Planning, modus studio, and the UA Community Design Center. From 2009 to 2024 he has worked through deprocess, a company he co-founded, to educate students and professionals about Architectural design software.
Jody graduated from the Fay Jones School of Architecture and Design in 2010 with a Bachelors in Architecture.
He started his journey toward being a Razorback in Hot Springs, graduating from the Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences, and the Arts -- also a part of the University of Arkansas system.
In 2018, he and his wife were fortunate enough to be able to make Mount Sequoyah their home. His parents and grandparents all hail from Heber Springs.
